Just back from a day of filming. ... More about that later.
Bloody brilliant weekend. Friday night over at Karen's, good food and we watched our first ever Blueray disc. Karen decided to launch her new player with a HD version of The Crow. Good choice! Even with my crappy eyesight I could see it was better quality than the DVD.
Saturday we headed (just) south of the river for Vagabonds. Excellent night only slightly cocked-up by a boot heel malfunction on the escalator at London Bridge Station.
Sunday... Hours and hours and hours of filming. It took less time to get me into costume, make-up and hair than last time... then I seemed to be on set all day. There where a few breaks for change of lighting and for camera crew to heat up lentils. I managed to trip over a cable at one point but managed to stop my fall with my face, luckly it was on a soft part of a sofa.
Filming took about twelve and a half hours in all I think, and the scene probably only lasts 2 or 3 min on screen. I felt more relaxed and think I got more into character than before. Zoe was fantastic, as was Bonnie. Sarah's make-up job really help me get into character, one look in the mirror after she had finished work and my confidence rocketed. Poor Neco spent most of the time either hanging around or in a pretty uncomfortable position. The location was Karen's house and "OH MY INVISIBLE FRIEND!" I've never seen the house in such chaos. I stayed behind and cleared-up, washed up, put back and tidied as best I could.... Stabbed myself in the thumb then came home. Not sure how I stabbed myself but I looked down and found a hole and lots of blood.
Home now and on a bit of a high. Can't wait to see the rushes!... But I'll have to wait. Stuff to do tomorrow... Have to sort my place out which has taken a bit of a back seat while I was getting stuff ready for the filming.
Spending quality time with my cat then I'm off to bed.
