I don't think I've heard from Uncle Nemesis since he sent me this… - Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity. [entries|archive|friends|userinfo]

I don't think I've heard from Uncle Nemesis since he sent me this photo of his Land Rover stuck in the mud. Should I be worried?

Sorry I assumed "Oops" meant a little more than "I have mud on my wheels".

PS a Radio 4 personality remembers you.

In this case 'Oops' meant 'I seem to have made a muddy fingerprint on my varnished timber door cappings...'

a Radio 4 personality remembers you

Impossible! That unpleasant business in the Woman's Hour studio is far behind me. I like to think we've all moved on.

In philosophy news today, I have discovered that the four great certainties of life are war, death, taxes...and the fact that garage proprietors never reply to emails. Unless it is to say 'Give me a ring...'

Yeah I wonder why some people have email accounts.

Right now I find getting anyone to ring me is just as hard.

I laugh now when I'm told that such and such department "...are all on the phone right now. Can they call back?"
