Probably a good job I went out and got coal and booze today. Because it don't look like we'll be going anywhere tomorrow.

I thought if I purchased a snow shovel it would prevent all this nonsense.

I nearly bought a snow shovel in the autumn, so as to be well prepared. I expect that is why we've had so little this year.

I can't think of a time when snow has ever prevented me from going anywhere.

I'm just not down with this fashionable snow-fright!

It's not the snow it's the crap drivers out in it that keep me off the roads. I've seen cars hurtling by here today that wouldn't stop until they hit something if tried to (had to) brake. Narrow country lane, 30 speed limit at the best of times. I'd happily drive in the snow if it weren't for those dickheads.

Apparently what you need is an old landrover.

Yes I saw that Uncle Nem has been playing in the snow. It amused me because I had some numpty in a Land Rover spin out of control right in front of me in the snow last year when going too fast he tried to brake too sharply... I came to a nice controlled stop behind him while he was still carouseling.
