There's a whale in the Thames. It's a northern bottle-nosed whale, I guess you can tell it's northern whale because, in spite of the cold weather it's not wearing jacket. I hope it can be persuaded to swim back to the sea where there is another whale that seems to be calling it.

But this has got me wondering... This has to be an omen, if a few crows flew over the houses of parliament that would be a bit of a sign... but a WHALE... a bloody whale swimming past parliament??? Perhaps it means "we're all at sea" or "lost". What sort of disaster is about to befall a nation when a whale swims past it's parliament?

Oh and if it gets washed up... The queen gets first dibs on it.. it's the law.
