I was sorry to learn of the problems you encountered at our Brooklands Extra store and I apologise for the inconvenience caused.

We aim to provide the very best service and it is disappointing when a customer is unhappy with any aspect of our operations. I have passed your comments to our Store Manager, who will address the matter.

I appreciate your bringing this matter to our notice and I am confident that you will not experience any more problems on your next visit to our store.



Hmmm... "I have passed your comments to our Store Manager" poor sod I bet it wasn't his idea.

And the more promising... "I am confident that you will not experience any more problems on your next visit to our store." So they are going to have a till staffed at night again? No I refuse to believe it, executive decisions are never overturned that easily. They just issue a new directive that makes matters much worse for staff and customers alike.
