Checking my watch

I've really got to get back into the habit of doing this...

All sorts of stuff's been happening since I last updated this, Whitby has been and gone, well the WGW anyway, not Whitby its self... At least I don't think it's gone. Maybe they pack it away for the winter or it disappears like Brigadoon only returning as the goffs cross the moors. Well Whitby was fun anyway, be it there or not now. Angel was so impressed she wants to move there, not a good thing because I want to move to Cornwall and that will put about 500 miles between us.

Living room continues to come together. Cabinets all done, bookcases just a sparkle in my eyes right now. Got all distracted and built a radiator cover this week for less than half the price of a kit and looks much better too. Pity it's going to be hidden behind the sofa.

Went to Slimelight last week. Got a bit tiddly so I can't tell you much about that night ;-) Do remember seeing some band doing a cover of "Oh Mr Porter"... that can't be right.

Got to see a film I've been wanting to see since I was 12 (yes the cinematograph was invented back then) It was "The Last Man on Earth" from 1964 with Vincent Price. He's The only human in a world full of vampires, as usual the books sooooo much better (I am Legend by Richard Matheson). However Vinnie was good, I always enjoy a Vinnie Price film.

There's a chance I'm going to be on TV, or more likely he cutting room floor. Filming in Cornwall at the end of the month. Can't say much more yet but Eeeek!

I've been doing some bookbinding again and surprised myself at how it came back to me. I'm making a big black leather bound tome with bronze fittings for Angel. See the opening credits for Buffy? See the big book with VAMPYR on the cover? That's what I'm making. Once that's done I will make a Sarah Michelle Gellar out of a used toilet roll and some cotton wool.
