Checking my watch

(no subject)

Rather a good evening. Just made the last District line train to Richmond. Very good to see Paul, Alan, David and Jane. Got caught up in the evening and nearly missed the last train, mostly because I had to do an abrupt U turn back to Alan's... I forgot my glasses. Good job I reached for my book when I got to the tube station. Nearly at Richmond now only a short walk over the river and home to bed.

Just rolled in... and tonight's big question is....

At what point did it seem like a good idea to switch from ale to champagne then to red wine?

The walk back from Richmond took me from slightly merry to blinding hangover.

I do like the last train home though. I guess it is the camaraderie of being all in it together.

Off to bed now, with thoughts of taking the pledge.

I should get my act together and head down the post office where parcels await collection.

Tonight I need to go and do a little job... trouble is I am still waiting for the address to be sent to me.

I installed seti@home on the Mac this afternoon. I was astounded by the sudden increase in fan noise as the machine started to process the first data unit.
