Checking my watch

(no subject)

I have one week left in this financial year to buy £1000 worth of machine tools.

Do I buy them this week and realise a saving on my tax in Jan 2011? Or do I leave it for now and get the saving on my tax in Jan 2012?

I have no free days next week to go to UK distributors, unless I manage to move a couple of things around. I have no where to put the machines for now. I may not even be able to unpack them for months. The price has already gone up due to the pound losing value, they could go up in price even more! Decisions, decisions...

Well apart from studio set-up worries that revolve mostly around tax and the value of the pound... It shouldn't be like this. I should be about design, materials, inspiration, creativity...

Anyway apart from such worries what's happening in the world of Rimmell.

Dealing with all the fallout from Dave's death.

Went to Vagabonds last night. Poor Cathy lost it big time, and I spent most of the evening sitting out on the pavement with her.

I have a tax and the self-employed course on Tuesday.

Seeing Dave's mother on Wednesday or Monday... Need to sort that out with her.

May try and get to Greenwich to look at clocks on Monday.

I have a list of stuff to do on the kitchen door because I'm trying to remember to do a ton of stuff and pack it all into 4.5 days next week.

I'm round at Pinkwitch Manor at the moment. She's trying to fix the pond filtration system. It's too cold out in the garden so I'm in here researching spare parts for a Bioforce 2200 filter system.
