There is no truth in the rumour (largely because I am just making it up) that this latest episode of Torchwood was adapted from a discarded "Archers" script, rescued from a Radio 4 wastepaper bin after it was decided not to end the series in a blaze of glory.
Yes I just got around to watching "Countrycide"
Aside from members of Torchwood repeatedly pointing their firearms at each other or walking directly in the line of fire of team members... This episode was rather good... in a "yuck" sort of way, make-up and bodies looking alarmingly real.
I am reminded of what Sherlock Holmes once said about the countryside...
"It is my belief, Watson, founded upon my experience, that the lowest and vilest alleys in London* do not present a more dreadful record of sin than does the smiling and beautiful countryside."
*or I guess Cardiff for that matter.
I'm rather enjoying Torchwood even if it is a mishmash of so many other TV shows.
