I was prompted by my last post to take a look at options for political gambling... So I took a look at the William Hill website.

They have the following odds for the US Presidential Election:

Hilary Clinton 7/4
Rudolph Giuliani 7/2
John Mccain 6/1
Barack Obama 6/1
John Edwards 7/1
Al Gore 14/1
Mitt Romney 20/1

Question... is it legal to bet on the Presidential Election in the USA?

Not that I'm interested in gambling on anything really... If I had any spare cash I could think of better ways of giving money away than betting.

Way, way, way down the list is Dick Cheney at 100/1.. he's not even standing for Republican presidential nomination! I think his words were "Hell No!" So I'd put the odds way higher.
