I need new glasses... Either that or the world is going a little fuzzy around the edges.

I think I'll pop into the opticians and see what styles they have before booking an eye test... Last time I went the selection was so poor I nearly ended up having to pay for the eye test and take the prescription else where. Also they wanted more money to fit new lenses to my old frames than it would cost to have new frames. Not sure what that's about.

I was wondering if I could hold on until I'm back in the USA.

So my question for US members of the window club is... How much can I expect to pay for eye test and a couple of pairs of specs in the US. Yeah I know sky's the limit with designer frames... But I wasn't thinking of getting Yve St Laurent or Georgio Armani specs.

seems with the ex rate at just over 2-1 now even with the yve st laurent or armani it would still be a better deal :)

*knock on wood* i do not need to be be-specaled yet, but the day draws closer. sigh.

I got my last pair of glasses from the US over the net - zennioptical.com
They are really unusual and cost me the princely sum of £21 INCLUDING shipping!
