Well... what I am thinking of doing is putting in a wall of built-in wardrobes with antiqued mirrored doors. It will extend over the door and also arch over the bed. Decorative mouldings will be added and I want to use Dutch metal on them. Colour scheme here
However right now there's no room to move in there. So once I get back home the plan goes something like this.
Recover from flight.
Do temporary fix to bathroom floor.
Catalogue all the books in boxes in the hall (produce database).
Sell all the books in boxes in the hall.
Clear all but my antique books out of the living room. That way I can remove the velvet from the bookcases and have my favourite books on display.
Buy a sofabed (Chesterfield, antique green about)
Sort more stuff in storage unit and sell (this will pay for above sofa bed).
Move everything out of my bedroom into new space provided by sorting and selling stuff in storage.
Build wardrobes, drawers in bedroom and sleep in living room on new sofabed while the work is being done.
Once I'm moved back into my bedroom then I clear the storage unit... What I haven't room for gets sold.
