I knew it!

Every other time I get a new credit card it either gets lost or details have been copied and it's been used!

Why the Hell don't they tighten up on security?

I found out why they don't send the cards Recorded Delivery though... It seems (so the story goes) that Recorded items will most likely go back to the sorting office where they can be interfered with, in the "To Be Collected" room. Well that's what I surmised from the the statement that "Recorded items can be in the postal system longer giving more opportunities for security to be compromised". Or does this mean 70p extra for Recorded Delivery will eat into our meagre profits?

I wouldn't mind but I didn't ask the Lloyds TSB to change my card in the first place!

It can even happen before the card is supposed to be posted, as my friend discovered after his Debit was plundered by an unnamed bank worker.
Gah! this sodding country!
