I don't know if this is an bad omen...

I just put the memory card into Ari's PC to back up my holiday photos before leaving.

It wiped the card. I'll try recovering them when I get home but I've never had much (any) success recovering photos from corrupted memory cards, especially from Fuji cameras.

All packed and pissed off.

Bummer.

The last memory card I bought (a Sandisk SD card) came with a recovery CD. I can see if I've still got it, if you'd like to try it.

Yes please... I'll try Stellar Phoenix when I get home but will welcome another method. Stellar Phoenix works really well on HDDs paid for it's self many times over and even paid for my holiday last year... but it doesn't seem to work on corrupted memory cards. I read something about Fuji cameras formatting in some strange way that hinders data recovery.

I'm sure that I put it somewhere safe, so you can guess what that means. I'm pretty certain that I didn't throw it away, as it's for Mac as well as PC. It's on a 3in CD, which are easily lost. I'll keep a look out for it.
