Wow! Surprised myself... by actually getting some sleep last night. It's 8am ish and I'm awake. I'll probably become all dazed and confused by 4pm but I'll deal with that when and if.

I should start unpacking I guess. I was just standing in the kitchen thinking 'I don't really have anywhere to unpack into' then I remembered I bought new drawers and tallboy. The bedroom is more chaotic than I remember. But that will have to wait until I've got the car sorted, I'll try and get it in tomorrow. I hope it doesn't cost too much to fix. The light moving at random should be easy, my guess is some plastic box has water in it so now it's daylight I'll go and take a look at the Haynes and have a poke about at the innards. But it's been drinking way too much water, that could be expensive. I wonder if I should just try pouring some Rad Weld in and see what happens?

In other news...
I need to go to the bank today.

I suspect I now have all the paperwork in from the last tax year, so it's off to see my accountant soon. But I can't face pulling all that out of the filing cabinet just yet... and I just know I'll have to chase up my managing agents for a missing invoice.

Right coffee then bank.

welcome back!

...going to be in London this weekend very briefly...so we could try for a handover of the dressing gown. I will make you prance about and try it on as itching to see you in it. Should be arrivin at Paddington for 21.26 Friday night, if you fancy a 'spies meeting at the station' exchange of packages...I'll wear a red carnation and carry a copy of today's Farming News

I thought we were meeting during the day on Saturday?

Friday I'm out in the evening. which is a pity because I rather fancy playing spies with you.

"In Leningrad the snow it melts late this year?"

"Da, and the Camomile it blooms late in Moscow."

If you want to leave it until I am in Cornwall next month that's fine with me. I'm worried about the jet lag thing taking me out and having to let you down on Saturday. Don't want you to lug it up to London needlessly again :-(

But still very keen to meet up and see the Telectroscope before it closes. I hear a consortium of transatlantic airlines have purchased the tunnel and are having it filled in.

ok -well I won't pack it then...it's bastard buggery heavy to lug about just in case...which means you don't have to feel guilty if you are wiped out by jetlag...

...that also means I might be able to lay hands on the one thing that's missing, which is tassles for the ends of the tie-belt...

...so just as a taster:

On no account put radweld in the car. We need to accertain where the water is going first!! We also need to figure out where it is coming from! (Yes I know ALL about the water cycle and taps and chlorination etc!)
