As I write this the printer is spewing out 19 sheets of the last financial year.

I can't do much around the flat due to back still hurting (I can't even brush my hair) so I'm taking advantage of the lull in hostilities, as it were, and I'm doing my books. I may even be in a "Call the accountant" situation by this evening.

I think I'll take the latest printouts to the coffee /bookshop with some highlighter pens.

Half tempted to go have a wash and trim at the hair dressers just to get my hair brushed. Can't get my arms above my shoulders right now. However leaning back to get hair washed would probably be too painful. However first I have to get my socks on... I actually find all this quite amusing and is probably good practice for when I get really old ;-) And at least it's made me do my tax stuff.

Colin, who also suffers from a bad back, says the best way to put your socks on is to lie flat on the bed and bend your legs. Also he finds a support belt absolutely essential the first couple of days - supports you so you can get about. Hope this may be helpful
