My poor old cat... [Feb. 18th, 2011|10:22 pm]

[mood |impressedimpressed]

My cat Moses is 19 years old. He's totally deaf, and very nearly totally blind. He is doing remarkably well while I've been moving the living room around in order to paint. He got a little confused as to the location of his litter tray last night (either that or he was making a protest). But apart from that he's finding his way to where ever the sofa happens to be when he needs it ,and has found his wandering food and water with very little fuss. This gives me hope that if I do move he will soon adjust to new surroundings.

He is, without a doubt, the most tolerant and loving of cats. He will survive the move, he doesn't go outside anyway. Just as long as the new owners don't consider him part of the fixtures and fittings.

He wouldn't add much to the value of the flat. Guess I'm stuck with him ;-)
