Job done! [Aug. 29th, 2012|04:14 pm]

I think I've finished doing my taxes. However, I'm looking at all the spreadsheets and thinking "There's something missing.".  Puzzled as to what's missing, but I have a funny feeling I've missed something. It all looks a bit sparse, what with not doing any work last year due to moving, there's not as much cash flow as previous years.

Hmmm... I'll go over it all one last time.

i think you need to watch the first episode of Black books again - or at least your tax related posts remind me of this...

Yes I sympathise with Bernard pairing his all his socks rather than doing his taxes. I draw the line at getting beaten-up to avoid tax returns though. Mind you, I have an accountant to do the actual return thing, if I had to do that myself... I'd probably reduce my circumstances to the point where I didn't pay tax. I've said it before, I did two tax courses with a view to learning to do the tax return myself and save a few quid, all it taught me was paying an accountant was money well spent. Just preparing all the figures for the accountant is hard enough.

I want to know if Adam Hart-Davis does his own tax return?
