Glueing myself back together.

A while back I stubbed my left foot and put two cracks from stem to stern in my big-toe. I thought it would grow out, and indeed on one side it has. However the right hand crack just keeps splitting further and further down as it grows. It's bloody painful if it gets caught on a sock, bed sheets, or rubs inside a shoe or boot. I've tried supper glue and that fixes the crack for a couple of days then flakes off and I'm back to square one. So last night I tried J-B Weld. I don't expect the manufacturers would recommend using their product for toe nail repair but if you can repair an engine block with this stuff I figure it should be strong enough to last until the crack has grown out. It could be interesting trimming the nail now I have a blob of steel reinforced epoxy on it, but I'll figure that out when the time comes.
