Well that could have gone better. [Nov. 19th, 2014|11:14 am]

Amber dog still off her food. She utterly disgraced herself at the vet this morning. I was waiting outside with Amber and she went for another dog. To be fair I was telling the owner to wait while I tried to get her out of the way. Trouble is she's lost so much weight her collar is very slack. Amber was backing-up and I could see her collar was about to slip over her ears and nearly off. I grabbed the collar, still telling the woman with the other dog to hang-on a second, I thought Amber was going to pull one way and she didn't, she pulled the other giving me rope burn and wrenching my thumb back. I don't think the woman could hear me telling her to wait over the barking. "Mortified" doesn't even begin to describe how I'm feeling.

The vet visit produced more blood tests, same ones as before to see if there are any improvements or further deteriorations. She could be going in for an all over scan tomorrow depending on blood results.

Back home now and I've just added some extra holes to Amber's collar, taking it in two inches.

Now waiting for blood results to be phoned through.
