Just started acclimatising him to being left alone, it's going to happen from time to time that we'll need to leave him. So we popped out for 5 minutes, leaving a phone on the side to video his reaction. We left him with a food puzzle toy and blanket. Watching the video he just seems puzzled. We weren't away long enough for him to get stressed and he's learnt we come back. Next trip will be 10 mins, then 15... and so on. We can review the video and see how he's doing with each extended period. It's not our intention to ever leave him for hours on end. Teaching him now that we do come back, will save him a whole lot of anxiety at a later date if he does have to be left.
Jo has just taken him for a walk. First time on her own, and I'm a little anxious, I hope he behaves himself as well as he has done with me.
